Let Terri Schiavo live.

I fail to see why Michael Schiavo insists that his former wife must die. He seems to have a huge conflict of interest. (He currently has two children with a mistress, and cannot marry her until Terri dies) He seems to have too much at stake. Terri's parents pleaded with Michael Schiavo. They said he could have all their possessions, all money ever made off of the rights of 'Terri's story', anything to just let Terri live. He is no where to be found. If he succeeds in killing her, what will he be accomplishing. Will he put her out of her misery? She isn't in any pain. Will he be happy that she is dead. Probably. Just today a Kansas woman, Sarah Scantlin, came out of a coma after 20 years. 20 years. She was eighteen when she was hit by a drunk driver and is now 38. She was originally thought to never come out. You think after five years in a coma her family thought of giving up. Undoubtedly they did. Ten? Fifteen? Twenty? I'm sure they thought of her every day. What would have been gained by letting her die? More money? Being able to finally sleep in instead of having to visit every day? Of course these cases are quite complicated, but each case the family involved had to choose between human life and their own desire to live a "normal" life. Terri's husband thinks his life is more important that Terri's. Thank goodness Sarah Scantlin's family valued human life. Sarah's father on said, "The heavens opened up when I heard Sarah say, 'Hi, Dad' ".
