Left Reaches Lower

Several days ago ABC news published a contact request for any family that is having a military funeral on Bush's inauguration day. Here is their request (it has since been deleted from their website):

Jan. 19, 2005 — For a possible Inauguration Day story on ABC News, we are trying to find out if there any military funerals for Iraq war casualties scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 20. If you know of a funeral and whether the family might be willing to talk to ABC News, please fill out the form below:

This is quite a Stretch from the main stream media's typical bias. I can see it now, instead of covering the inauguration they would cut to this poor family who lost a son or daughter in the war. I cannot imagine the mindset of whoever thought of this. Of course if John Kerry was elected they would be doing the exact same thing. Yeah right. Just when you think they can get any lower then they go and do this, at the Minneapolis Star Tribune. (Hat tip to Powerline)
