Kerry Meets with Soldiers in Iraq

Last week Kerry meet with soldiers currently serving in Iraq, here are some of his words of encouragement:

"What is sad about what's happening here now is that so much of it is a process of catching up from the enormous miscalculations and wrong judgments made in the beginning." Because of the Bush administration's mistakes, "the job has been made enormously harder." "No insurgency is defeated by conventional military power alone," Commented on several "horrendous judgments" and "unbelievable blunders" of the Bush administration.

Nothing like supporting the troops and motivating them. There is a time and a place. Somehow I don't think Iraq is one of them. He probably enjoyed people coming to Vietnam and telling him he was fighting a war that could not be won. This is something Kerry already was preaching.

Kerry has a history of meeting with the enemy. Maybe he should meet with the insurgents in Iraq and see if they can come up with a plan.
