Ultrasounds Save Lives

An article today in the New York Times talks about how many pro-life groups use ultrasound to turn women away from abortion. Of course Planned Parenthood and NARAL oppose this, calling it a coercive technique. They are typically in favor of women making their own choice, particularly when they choose abortion. When they chose life, they are being coercive. Planned Parenthood knows all too well the effect of ultrasounds on mothers. It is well know that a guard is placed between women about to have an abortion and the screen of an ultrasound. Women seeing the screen would have second thoughts about abortion. Of course this is just a uniformed emotional decision.
