Florida Electronic Voting Study Debunked

A University of California (Berkeley) professor Dr. Michael Hout recently made public a paper that found "statistical evidence" of voting discrepancies in Florida. (I say made public because he did not make the paper available for peer review.) In this paper Hout alleges that as many as 130,000 excess votes may have been awarded to President Bush. This paper seemed to be rather easily debunked. The debunking paper basically shows how Dr. Hout did a lot of hand waving to get to a conclusion. Although the paper has been disproved I'm sure it will still provide for a credible source for CBS, The New York Times, Al Franken, or Michael Moore. I'll look forward to seeing the citation.
