Pearl Harbor

Before 9/11 most young people, including myself, had trouble relating to the emotion felt after the attack on Pearl Harbor Dec. 7th, 1941. Just as the US dealt a crushing blow to the Japanese at the battle of Midway in 1942 as response to Pearl Harbor, the US is dealing a blow to terrorists world wide as a response to 9/11. Iraq will soon be restored to the people of Iraq, thus preventing further aiding of any terrorist activities. Both attacks on the US served to awake a sleeping giant with a strong, unwavering spirit. The The United States Department of the Navy has some powerful images taken of Pearl Harbor before, during, and after the attack. They are definitely worth checking out.
