Can you get too PC?

From the following article:
Police have agreed to consult a panel of Muslim leaders before mounting counter-terrorist raids or arrests.
Keep in mind that many (most?) Muslims in the UK think that the raids in August were based on assumptions and nothing else. Despite the following:
  1. 6 of the suspects had made a total of 7 martyrdom tapes, in preparation for their own suicide.
  2. UK intelligence had an undercover officer that had infiltrated the group.
  3. Al Qaeda had threatened weeks prior to attack British aviation
I think Britain has opted for appeasement rather than action and are afraid to be labeled as anti-Muslim.

Now the news as of 11/10/06 indicates that the British may have 30 al quida groups under surveilance, numbering an estimated 1500 individuals intent on terrorist attacks in Europe. Maybe the UK will reconsider.
